Seniors will be able to get a vaccine against three diseases in the future.
A new vaccine against diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough for over-65s has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
The Boostrix vaccine will now be made available for public use following the completion of two clinical trials where over 1000 participants successfully received the drug.
