Older people are jumping on the social media bandwagon to stay in touch with friends and family.The number of baby boomers using social networking sites like Facebook has grown by 60% in just 6 years.
A national survey by the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project, found 65% adults use social media sites – 32% of this figure were aged between 50 and 64, which is up by 12% from previous statistics and marks a 60% rise. Read more
