More senior facilities have been created to meet demand.

The number of people over the age of 65 living in Sussex County in Delaware has risen by 44% over the last decade, figures from the US Census Bureau have revealed.

The rise has resulted in an increase in the demand for retirement facilities, nursing homes and assisted living communities in the area. It has also led to a boost in the jobs market with the creation of an extra 554 residential nursing roles between 2001 and 2011. Read more
