The Knoll at Tigard, a brand new housing facility in Tigard, will host a gorgeous opening ceremony and will also give tours on Thursday.
The 48 unit building is the first major project completed by the Community Partners for affordable housing, which is Tiger based and they funded the full project fee without any urban renewal fund.
The project cost $10.8 million and the 4600 square foot building is squeezed into nearly an acre of land which is situated at the corner of southwest Hunziker road and Southwest Hall Boulevard near downtown.
It’s 48 dwellings include 3 double bed units and 45 single bed units. According to the Community Partners for affordable housing, 12 of those units are set aside for veterans and homeless people.
It is the first project of this kind in the city and people are enthusiastic about the prospect of the project and are eagerly waiting for the opening ceremony.
