Nursing home employee charged with exploiting a resident

According to authorities, a worker who allegedly exploited a nursing home resident has been arrested near New Hampshire. 36 year old female worker Jodi La Claire has been charged with financial exploitation and attempted financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

According to the statement of Assistant Attorney General Linda Purdy, Jodi La Claire made several cash withdrawals using the credit card of a resident of Thompson House Nursing Facility which is situated in Brattleboro. She also tried to withdraw funds on several occasions by exploiting the resident.

After being charged with the accusations she tried to flee from the area, but she was caught by the police near a ranch house in New Hampshire.
